4.) Letter of recommendation/support from anesthesia residency program director. Please instruct your letter writer(s) to send your letter of recommendation(s) to residentcomponent@asahq.org. The email must include your name and the position you are seeking. Only upon receipt of the letter(s) will your application be considered complete.
5.) Junior Co-Editor applicants only: Writing sample (500-700 words)
Elections will take place during the ASA Resident Component House of Delegates Session in October. Each candidate will be permitted to make a brief speech on their qualifications and platform statement. A sample platform statement is available on the website. All candidate platform statements will be made available to the resident delegates.
By applying for a position, you agree to the duties and responsibilities as outlined on the website and agree to fulfill these obligations and any other new initiatives put forth and approved during your officer term. Please note you are expected to attend two (2) onsite meetings in Chicago, IL. One in March and one in August based on the ASA Board of Directors Meeting weekend.
